I an' I Mission

The mission of the Pacific Northwest Rastafari Collective is to centralize and organize the Rastafari community in Washington and Oregon in an effort to support local and global Rastafari works through diligent adherence to the Nyahbinghi creed and the teachings of Haile Selassie the First.  The collective is comprised of members of the Rastafarian community, performing works in accordance with the teachings of Haile Selassie I the First in a cooperative effort with all interested Rastafarians and related organizations.
 

Guiding Principles

To realize the vision and mission of the Pacific Northwest Rastafari Collective, we are livicated to abide and uphold the teachings of Haile Selassie I. To not commit any dishonorable act which diminishes the global vision of Rastafari. To uphold the Nyahbinghi creed at all times: that the hungry be fed, the sick nourished, aged protected and infants cared for. To conduct oneself in and out of meetings with wise mind, discipline, tolerance and overstanding, respecting the rights of each individual at all times aiming to ensure perfect harmony and one accord.
 

Organizational Profile

The Pacific Northwest Rastafari Collective is led by a group of annually elected officers.  Through the collection of quarterly membership dues and event fundraising projects, the group is able to contribute to their local community and give support to the global Rastafarian family. There are many members of our Rastafari family that need assistance in addressing basic human needs (food, shelter, clothing, education and health).  Through collective works we can ensure the support and care of InI family.  The collective is also livicated to the upliftment of Africa and Ithiopia. 

The Pacific Northwest Rastafari Collective is affiliated with the Pitfour Nyahbinghi House in Jamaica, and its structure is based on that of the Nyahbinghi House and the Ethiopian World Federation.
